Chester Ables with a 8.75 lb bass on Lake Fork.

6/11/09

Another season of tournaments has ended.  It was a great year, especially for Ronnie Taylor.  He is Onalaska Bass Club's Angler of the Year for 2009.  This is getting to be a pattern, 2nd year in a row.  What a great job he did.

Congratulations and may his luck continue.

Lake Livingston is in the summer pattern.  Keep fishing the crankbaits and soft plastics.  As usual the boathouses and brush piles are the key.

White Bass are going wild now.  Limits are coming in from all over the lake.  The Old 190 roadbed is doing well, as are the normal humps.  Jigging or trolling will get the job done.  Get those kids and grandkids out and have a ball.

Catfishing is slow but best times are early and real late.

Good luck on your fishing trips and be safe.
