Thanks to KV5E here in Mesquite getting
on the air and putting down the network we were trying to build
here we are down to one station, mine. I have had to shut down
the 145.090 node for lack of use and I have to connect to a station
in Mansfield Texas to check my on air status. Mansfield is about
40 miles from my station. I will keep my station up until I think
it is a futile effort and then I will dismantle it. I will keep
you posted.

The multiple addressing problem with
Thunderbird has been fixed in Winlink2000. New settings at KB5JBV
has allowed for greater through put and will be implemented on
the other stations soon.

We ran a simulated test over the weekend
and found several flaws in the system here locally and on the
winlink network. for those who will be using Thunderbird as your
mail client there is a problem with sending multiple recipient
emails. I am working with Rick KN6KB to resolve that issue.

OK after a month of resolving problems
we are finally on our way.
Currently we have KB5JBV-10 and K5BRS-10
up and running as full 24/7 Telpac stations. WO5Q-10 is up but
has no internet feed at thin time. KD5TKO-10 is in the process
of construction and KD5KGU-10 will begin construction soon. Benny
K5BRS has also put together a station that can be taken mobile
using a laptop and some of his APRS equipment.
KB5JBV currently has in operation a
Telpac node, Paclink, a running Node / Digi, a Chat Server, and
a very basic file server.

At this time the only 24/7 Telpac node
in The Mesquite area is KB5JBV. KB5JBV is running Telpac, Paclink,
a digi and a Chat node. K5BRS is working on getting his laptop
into portable service. others may come onine soon. We will be
moving from 145.070 Mhz. to 145.090 Mhz. very soon so check back
frequently for updates.
